Type of services used
Our game plan for this project involved separating and exterior and interior team to simultaneously work on two sections.
We removed all flaking and defective coatings and used a water pressure psi machines to effectively clean the building.
Selected moisture-curing products to address the moisture content in the wash bay areas.
Roller application was used to eliminate overspray risks near MCI vehicles.
Allocated a 10+ painters for interior works to quickly complete works and be out of the way.
By first getting to know the project, we can deliver and execute a project strategy that exceeds our client’s expectations. Omega Industries delivered a large workforce with a strategy to overcome major production bottlenecks to complete the MCI project.
By effective project management and planning to execute a highly productive painting crew, Omega were able to complete the project 2 days ahead of schedule. Proven strategies boosted the project timeline – resulting in adequate time for other preparations to take place prior to students entering their freshly painted dorms.
We procured a Dura-flex moisture curing urethane that works well with high moisture areas, like the wash bays. This was a great success for MCI and added value for their commercial asset.
Omega effectively divided the workforce across separate areas to complete works simultaneously, creating friendly competition between crews and ensuring high work rate efficiencies.
